I’m looking for offical US military MREs not civilian type by Ameriqual, Sopakco or Wornick. I know the government has been cracking down on the sale of MREs intended for hurricane and other natual disater victims, but those are the only ones I buy. The place where I used to get them for $5.50 now charges around $7 bucks each. I allready keep an eye on eBay, but you can’t trust these sellers.

What is the current situation reguarding the US military on St Kilda?
Bill Oddie spoke breifly about it on a recent program a number of ‘masts and a power generator’ the size of a large caravan’ he said.
I wasn’t aware that the US Military had any sort of presence there at all?
Below from Wiki:
The MoD base is part of the Hebrides missile tracking range based in Benbecula, where test firings and flights are carried out. The Ministry of Defence leases St Kilda from the National Trust for Scotland for a nominal fee.
The info from Wiki is correct.
St Kilda (or Hirta) was last permenantly inhabited in about 1930, the last residents moved to the mainland because it was uneconomical for them to live there.
It has been a World Heritage Site for many years and temporary home to scientists, geologists, ornithologists and the like.
With the arrival of the US military, several masts have been erected on the prominent summits and tracks have been bulldozed across the hillsides. There’s also permenant settlements and a helipad.
Don’t know why St Kilda was chosen when there are other uninhabited islands nearby (eg Boreray) that aren’t designated World Heritage Sites.
There’s info and a map on this page http://www.nts-seabirds.org.uk/properties/st_kilda/st_kilda.aspx the map isn’t all that clear and since it was published further masts have been erected. There’s more info about St Kilda on these sites – http://www.kilda.org.uk/

How did America’s racist attitude toward the Japanese affect the US military’s strategy in winning the war? I have to have 10 sentences about this and backing it up with information.
It did not bring all americans together as our concentration camps made clear and while a country is not a race our attitude — compare with Germany — was stupidly racist. This was most evident in our decision to drop the atomic bombs.
I’m looking for throughout the entire history of the United States. I have been able to find US military casualties, but nothing on the opponent. Thanks!
It’s something that is impossible to ever tell since no records have ever been kept.
RekonDog answered it well.
Michael B, we’re here to serve and protect the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic. Someone speaking their mind and not causing "clear and present danger" does not deserve a banishing. Get your head together.
Okay I know a dumb ? but i love the army….how many of the worlds military could beat the united states in a war? power wise
Our defense budget is about 4% of the GDP. However, that number has nothing to do with actual results. I believe we have good stand off with our air force and navy, meaning we can reach across the globe. Some of the other major players are having problems maintaining their forces and equipment since the end of the Cold War. China has expanded its military size and strength over the years but they do not appear to be expanding their presence or domination yet, give them another few decades. Military wise, it would be difficult for anyone to defeat us, our politics is our weakness. Then again, maybe it is our greatest strength.
I see a lot of people with questions regarding the army posted online I am here to answer any military questions———Contact me @deneicethomas@Yahoo.com
Are you only going to answer questions about the army or all other branches as well?
I was wondering about the different uniforms worn by the cadets attending the US Military Academy. When are they worn, how are they worn and who wears what?
Here’s a fact sheet on uniforms from West Point. It doesn’t answer all of your questions but it does have some interesting info.

My boyfriend of two years really wants to join the US military, he is a native arabic speaker and was considering becoming a linguist. I know its possible for a green card holder to enlist but what if he does not have that either, is it possible? I am planning to join the navy so I figured we could both join together.
Any information would be great, please no ignorant answers.
Thanks a bunch!
He has never been to the states either. We met overseas.

The Army National Guard has the 09L (oh-nine-lima) program. Call the local Army National Guard recruiter and ask to be put in contact with the 09L recruiter (who will be a foreign born native speaker)…they will assist and walk him through the process…
What US Military base has the best Officers Club? I am a culinary student, and veteran, and I’m thinking about tapping an Officers Club to do my co-op at.
Officers clubs have gone the way of Community clubs where all are invited to include officers, NCO’s and lower enlisted soldiers. While the three are separated with different clubs that serve alcohol so no fraternization would be inferred if you are going to be a chef or a cook you will more than likely be employed by the community club as a whole. Which one is the best is a subjective matter of the patrons so take your pick. I suppose the best one is the one you are going to end up working at
